I’m Bastian, based in Munich. For me, photography is all about fascination and the joy of creating. I love being out there with my camera, observing people and landscapes, and then seeing what I can bring out of a shot during the editing process.

It’s a lot of learning by doing - I enjoy experimenting and just testing what works. While I mostly shoot digital, I’ve recently started playing around with analog film and home developing, simply because it’s a great way to see light differently. On this blog, I want to share my work and talk to other practitioners about their own journeys and perspectives.
